Have you tried Spicy Chicken Pot? It’s considered a fairly new dish (few years) with the ever-growing Szechuan style hot pot and this is one of them. In my opinion, this dish is a combination of the Mala and oyster sauce flavour which quickly became one of my favourites. Here is a simplified version of the Spicy Chicken Hot Pot that you too can try making!

Mala Grilled Fish – origins Chong Qing, China. Famously made with the spicy and numbing Szechuan peppercorn. Mala has been around for some time now and I got introduced to this dish by my husband who is addicted to it! During this #stayathome period we couldn’t enjoy it in a restaurant, so to fulfil his cravings I’ve made my own homemade Mala Grilled Fish or some may call it Chong Qing Grilled Fish.
It’s spicy, numbing and fragrant, you’ll be hooked!
Homemade Fish & Chips that you can prepare within 30 minutes! I’ve simplified the ingredients and fairly easy to get in your local supermarket. Try, experiment and change it to suit your taste! If you like it with a little heat, put in some chili powder.
